I was the only mom there with a sling and several people stopped me asking what kind of sling it was, I even had two ladies ask to take my picture. (My mom took this one)
I can't believe you were the only one with a sling! I guess maybe they're more popular in some parts of the country than in others. I live in Alaska and see them used all the time.
