mamastyle: from a saturday.

I have been really working not to spend any money lately. I mean, none. The most recent thing I purchased was a $1 shirt from the thrift store. We are just super strapped for cash and right now I would rather put the money towards things we need for the house (still using a mini fridge and blankets over windows). We are thriving though, its just a matter of making what we do have beautiful. I am really happy with our home.
That being said, I have been re-inventing my closet. I ended up pulling this look out and being so happy with it. Its always just grabbing an array of clothing and seeing what happens...pull this up higher, this down, put a belt on it, etc...its always fun and gives me a boost of happiness. Its fun to be creative and content with what you have.

skirt (turned dress): thrifted, kierra.
crop (top tied up): thrifted, roxy.
belt: american eagle.
shoes: urban outfitters.
bag: gifted from my love, Paige. Lightnest Collective.

  4. You're gorgeous! And congrats on getting back to your pre-baby weight - that's a huge accomplishment. You're giving me motivation/inspiration for my own weight loss post-baby.

  9. your precious!! I totally get the being strapped for cash and reinventing things. We've had to spend money on clothes lately for my husband who just keeps getting skinnier. BUT thrift stores are our only go-to. I can't imagine having to find clothes for little ones right now in our financial situation too! Way to go girl on doing it all:). Love the outfit and love that you shared it.

  10. really you have the most beautiful hair. how do you do it? mine is slightly curlier but not so much, and before it grows long it gets frizzy and dry so i have to cut them. any (vegan) hairproducts you could recommend? :)
