lately, valentines edition.
Under the guise of a trip to town we somehow meandered up to this ledge near a lake where Marc parked and surprised me with champagne and treats. It was a beautiful view and the rain was quiet and calming.
We had two hours to kill and we enjoyed them. Just sitting in the car talking, laughing....and making out.
He brought all of our old letters and disc's we had burned for one another with all of our songs. We both ended up crying. It's really amazing how a specific time in your life can have so many emotions tied to it and that, by just listening to a song, you can be transported back to then.
Throwing ideas around...
It was the best Valentines I have ever had.
The best mustard, ever!
Living room with a new fan!
Marc spent most of the previous evening getting it installed. It looks so great! So happy with it.
Jen fromArthur's Plaid Pants created this for us! How wonderful is it!? She even included my nose ring! AHHHH! Really, this would be a awesome gift for a couple (or a significant other). I can't wait to get it hung, so I am watching the thrift store for the perfect frame.
What did you guys do this Valentine's Day?

ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful, romantic way to spend Valentine's Day with Marc. It's the simplest things that we can really hold so close to us like a song, or just sitting over a pretty scene in the car together that can mean the most. And that mustard, I love mustard, and that label is awesome. I might have to try and find it!
ReplyDeleteYou guys are too cute... how absolutely romantic and perfectly YOU! xo
ReplyDeleteFunny! I just switched out the massive old-fashioned fan in our bedroom to that exact one. Love it. Cheap and so much cleaner looking than most.
