Love the short hair. Do it! You'll never look back!Bettinawww.littleoldsouls.com
Hi! Can I just say I've missed your regular blogging. Baby feet are so cute! I've been wanting to try quiche, never have made it or even tried it. Oh my! Short hair would look soo good on you!
I know! I have been awful about blogging...I miss it.Thanks for letting me know, really. Makes me feel loved :) xoxo
I really like the photo of Marc's hands. There's something about it...PS - You could rock the short hair, even though it looks super nice long & wavy.
Janelle, Thanks!I love that photo of Marc's hand too! I kept going on about it and Marc kept laughing about it. I love his hands.I really, really want to try...I wish I could switch back and forth...ugh!
I've always adored your beautiful, long hair but the short hair looks too good not to try. I don't know, luckily I don't have to decide, ha! Loved this post.
haha! Thats what I keep thinking...I suppose it will grow back...
That whipped cream maple french toast looks amazing!! I am even more excited to be getting some real maple syrup from a local sugar house today now, after seeing that! :) Lovely lately post! Great photos!
I cut my butt length hair into an almost pixie cut a couple years ago as a semi deployment present for the hubbers... he loved it... I tried not to throw a funeral for my hair but eventually it grows back lol! Now it's past my shoulders. Also I'm currently creating a human :)
Congrats! Ah, thats what I am worried about. I know Marc will love it but I also know my identity is so wrapped up in my hair...it will be so weird not to have it...
Luna's baby legs are the cutest! Also your hair would look fab no matter what you do to it.
How cute and funky and eclectic is your living room?! I love all these little snapshots, they are so fun:)
Thank you! It's probably my favorite room in our house. :)
Your house looks super cozy.
You are beautiful, and I do love your hair. Fist time I saw your photo, I immediately thought about Joss Stone! hahah (: Anyone ever told you that? So yeah, don't cut it... please. ;) x
hahah! No one, but I am flattered. She is awesome and such a beautiful woman.I am so on the fence! ahhhhh
I don't know, I think your hair REALLY fits you - funny, I just don't know you and I'm saying that! hahah But seriously, I think it looks so natural and laid back. Beautiful. But anyway, hope you do what makes you happy! :}
I chopped off all of my hair about 2 years ago and it was awesome while it was short. Minimal maintenance, and I honestly loved the fact that my facial features were put on display because my hair wasn't getting in the way. I'm now in the process of growing it out BUT I must say that I have NEVER regretted cutting all of my hair off. No regrets at all. If you DO decide to do it and you don't like it, at least you'll have a funny story to tell your friends! hahaxxx Sabrina
Homemade whipped cream, yum! As for rearranging living rooms, it's so refreshing! Yours looks bright and totally comfy! Your hair would look so cute short! Do you plan on cutting it that short? :)
Your living room looks amazing! So cozy. I know what you mean about hands. I'm always finding new things to love about Brian. The fun thing is that as we get older, there's even more to love! New lines and details. The newly grown creases around Brian's eyes totally kill me. Best wishes<3
I LOVE your hair, but I'm also a fan of trying everything once. I had a pixie cut for a couple of years and I loved how it looked and how little I had to do with it. My longer hair better suits where I am in my life right now, I feel it is a better reflection of me; but cutting off all my hair at 17 felt like a symbol of my burgeoning independence and adulthood. Ultimately, though, you can attach meaning to anything but hair is hair and nothing more.
PS Luna is the CUTEST little thing. x
I think you have the perfect face for short hair,The living room looks gorgeous,And, can I come over for breakfast?!
I agree with the short hair and you! Pixie cuts are cute, but what does your man think? In my experience, men prefer long hair. Just a consideration!I LOVE the pictures of the baby legs. So luscious! I'm still in denial my boy is a boy, no longer a babe. Your living room is darling as well.
Oh wow... those photos are making me hungry! Gotta love some maple syrup :)And Luna - so adorable! :)As for the hair, I like it long - it fits your free-spirited nature - there is something so carefree about longer hair... :) But maybe that is just me, I love my long hair and can't bear to have it any shorter than shoulder-length! :PI am sure whatever you choose to do you will look beautiful :)
Luna's baby legs. Yesirreee. So, I think you should do it. I cut my hair about 5.5 years ago; I'd thought about it for a few months and eventually just did it on sort of a whim, one day. I assumed I was only fantasizing but then I just - did it! And I felt really sexy and feminine and I loved it. I even took clippers to it myself all throughout the summer and warmth of fall - so it was VERY short, a number 7 or 8 with the clippers, I think. I liked the piecey-ness of the front parts and the wavy sideburns and all of that. It was really fun for swimming and sweating, and washing my hair in the sink when our shower on the farm broke. I have fond memories of it.However, I did become pregnant with our second son while it was very short, and I always gain about 10 pounds right off of the bat, so I felt less sexy when I had morning sickness and bags under my eyes and none of my clothes fit. :) It did grow out, of course, and I would do it again, easily. You should. You only live once, it's just hair, and it's so fun to have different cuts while it's growing out.Do it! You're gorgeous! And it is so, so liberating.
I love your living room. It looks so welcoming and full of personal touches.
i think you look like julia roberts on steel magnolias, with your hair short like that. thats of course a good thing, but would you react the way she did when she cut off all her gorgeous hair?
oh my goodness, your living room is DIVINE!
Hi, I just found your blog tonight after seeing your "button" on Dear Baby (which I've read for years). I loved reading your thoughts =) I thought the diploma on the wall in the last photo looked familiar and after zooming in it confirmed that it was, indeed, an Auburn diploma. I went to Auburn from 2001-2010 for undergraduate and graduate school! My husband went there too! Small world!! We seem to have similar interests, feel free to look around the blog for some musings about our experiences with parenthood =) www.ourwestcoastnest.wordpress.comChristina
Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts. I do read every comment and I am paying attention to what is being said, I welcome the feedback. If you have a more personal question I ask that you email me instead of commenting here. Thanks!
