My name is Bekah, I was born on February 22, 1990.
I grew up the eldest of 7 girls. I was homeschooled and raised in a home where frugalness and simplicity were key. I have forever been grateful to my parents for instilling that in me.
I met the boy who would become my husband on 6.25.2007. It was literally love at first sight.
After nearly a year of knowing we finally stepped forward and on 5.25.2008 we moved in together, four months later we tied the knot at the courthouse in Opelika, AL on 9.5.2008. I was nearly 4 months pregnant with our first love, our daughter Ocean. She was born 3.9.2009. We decided to add to our family and our second love, Luna was born 8.18.2011.
That is only our history, our story continues...
Today, We are both curators for an online magazine and are honored to have the liberty to work together. I look for beauty in the everyday, be it the quiet time during naps or the simple pleasure of hanging laundry on a line to dry. It is there, I just have to be aware to see it. I am aiming for more simplicity in my everyday. Opting for fulfillment rather than chasing happiness. I choose to live instead of merely consume.
